⚠ IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL PLAYERS
Space Expanse enforces a strict Zero Tolerance Policy against any form of botting, automation, scripting, client or server tampering, and bug exploitation.
Any violation results in immediate permanent account termination (perma-ban) and the complete and irreversible forfeiture of any right to a refund for any purchases or virtual goods.
These Terms of Service and Rules of Conduct (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the relationship and rights between the operator of the online game Space Expanse (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) and the registered users (hereinafter referred to as the “User” or “Player”).
By creating a game account, connecting to the game servers, purchasing virtual items, or continuing to play Space Expanse, the Player expressly acknowledges and unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Terms.
- Game Account: The personal user profile maintained on Operator servers granting authorization to access the game services.
- The Game: The online space simulator Space Expanse, including its web client, graphics, sound assets, and server infrastructure.
- Virtual Items: In-game currencies (Gold, Netherium), ships, modules, hangar slots, equipment, and digital enhancements obtained via gameplay or direct purchase.
Space Expanse is built on the foundation of genuine skill, human competition, and Fair Play. All game actions must be performed directly and manually by a human player using standard, unmodified user input devices.
The following activities and tools are strictly prohibited under penalty of immediate permanent ban:
- Bots and Auto-Clickers: Any third-party software, background script, browser extension, or helper tool that emulates mouse clicks, ship navigation, box collecting, automatic targeting, auto-shooting, auto-repairing, or automated quest completion.
- Hardware Macros: Programmable keyboard, mouse, or controller macros that execute automated combinations or repeat actions without continuous human interaction.
- Unattended / AFK Gameplay: Leaving a ship running automated tasks while the player is not actively sitting at the computer and monitoring the game.
- Headless Clients & Protocol Emulation: Running custom web scrapers, reverse-engineered WebSocket clients, background processes, or packet generators to interact with game servers without using the official client interface.
The Operator actively deploys behavioral heuristics, server-side packet verification, and anomaly detection to identify and permanently ban automated accounts.
Maintaining the stability and integrity of the game environment is vital. Any attempt to tamper with game code, data transfer, or fair gameplay mechanics will not be tolerated:
- Bypassing Protections: Any attempt to circumvent, disable, or tamper with security protocols, rate limiters, client verification tokens, or cooldown timers.
- Packet Manipulation: Sniffing, modifying, injecting, or forging network packets (e.g., using packet editors or proxies) to transmit unauthorized or malformed commands to the server.
- Bug & Glitch Exploitation: If a Player discovers an error, glitch, unexpected behavior, or duplicator exploit in game mechanics, combat, or shop systems, they are obligated to report it immediately to the staff. Intentionally exploiting any bug for personal or third-party benefit is strictly punishable by account termination.
- Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, or analyzing game assets or server communication protocols for malicious purposes or building unauthorized third-party tools.
Players may voluntarily acquire premium in-game currency (Gold), equipment packages, or cosmetic enhancements using real currency via supported payment providers.
- Nature of Virtual Goods: In-game currencies (Gold, Netherium) and virtual items are non-tangible digital assets existing solely within Space Expanse. They have no cash or monetary value outside the game, do not constitute a monetary deposit, and cannot be redeemed for real-world currency or property.
- Limited License: Any purchase grants the Player a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to utilize the digital goods solely within the game. Legal ownership of all code, assets, and database records remains solely with the Operator.
- Immediate Digital Delivery: All purchased virtual goods and currencies are delivered to the Player's account immediately upon successful payment verification.
In the event of any breach of these Terms (specifically including botting, automation, client tampering, bug exploitation, toxicity, or payment fraud), the Operator reserves the right to impose the following sanctions without prior notice:
- Temporary suspension of account access (Temp-ban).
- Permanent and irreversible account termination (Permanent Ban).
- Complete rollback, forfeiture, or deletion of illicitly gained currency, items, and leaderboard rankings.
- Permanent exclusion from official Space Expanse community platforms and servers.
Complete Forfeiture of Refund Rights (No Refund Policy)
IF A USER'S ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED, TERMINATED, OR SANCTIONED DUE TO A BREACH OF THESE RULES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BOTTING, SCRIPTING, AUTOMATION, EXPLOITING, OR TAMPERING),
THE USER FULLY, IRREVOCABLY, AND PERMANENTLY FORFEITS ANY AND ALL CLAIMS TO A REFUND, MONETARY RETURN, COMPENSATION, OR RESTITUTION
FOR ANY UNUSED VIRTUAL CURRENCY (GOLD), SHIPS, HANGARS, BUNDLES, OR DIGITAL ITEMS PURCHASED ON THE ACCOUNT.
Waiver of Withdrawal Rights: Because virtual items and premium currencies constitute digital content not supplied on a tangible medium and are supplied immediately upon purchase, the Player explicitly agrees and confirms that they waive any statutory right of withdrawal or statutory cooling-off period under consumer protection laws once delivery has begun.
Prohibition of Fraudulent Chargebacks: Initiating an unauthorized chargeback or payment reversal through a bank, card issuer, or payment processor without prior written consent from the Operator constitutes breach of contract and fraud. Such action will result in immediate permanent banning of all associated accounts and payment methods, along with legal collection of the chargeback fees and damages incurred.
All pilots are expected to safeguard their credentials and maintain civil communication:
- Account Security: The Player is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. The Operator will never ask for your password. Losses arising from account sharing or negligence will not be compensated.
- Prohibition of Real Money Trading (RMT): Selling, purchasing, trading, or transferring game accounts, items, or in-game currencies for real-world money, goods, or external services is strictly prohibited. All parties involved will receive an immediate permanent ban.
- Communication Conduct: Harassment, hate speech, racism, personal threats, spamming, and the distribution of malicious links (phishing, malware) in chat or community channels are strictly forbidden.
The Operator reserves the right to modify these Terms and Rules at any time to reflect game evolution, security requirements, or legal changes. Continued use of the game following any update constitutes full acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
